If you do not know what software to use for LiDAR data processing, we can help you. We will select them according to your needs and your company’s business profile.
Use your drone to acquire spatial data. Mount on your unmanned aerial vehicle a unique laser scanner that simultaneously acquires LiDAR data, but also images. Thanks to our solutions you will be able to create the orthophotomap and colored LiDAR point cloud.
We will conduct training ideally suited to your needs, so you could take full advantage of the data obtained with the use of laser scanning technology.
If you do not want to process laser point clouds yourself, you can use our LiDAR data services. You can outsource to us the process of obtaining, developing and obtaining the products you need.
Are you wondering how and if you can use LiDAR data in your company? We will advise you in which direction your organization should follow in the use of LiDAR data.
Use laser scanning if you design or carry out road, railway, construction or other earthworks projects or you are engaged in opencast mining. This technology will allow you to obtain accurate information about the volumes of ground masses. Using the LiDAR data, calculate the volume of inventory in your area, predict the costs of planned earthworks, decide on the volume of the ordered aggregate or calculate the volume of the building being built.
By using LiDAR data in archeology you will be able in a non-invasive way to recognize, document, investigate and, as a result, promote your archaeological object. This method involves the use of a Digital Elevation Model (Digital Terrain Model and Digital Surface Model) and the use of appropriate visualization methods to identify an archaeological object. The advantage of conducting research using LiDAR data is the ability to identify objects despite the plant cover above them. With the help of ALS data (Airborne Laser Scanning) you can identify, for example: fortified settlements, tombs or remains of mining works.
If you manage your infrastructure, you should have precise and accurate spatial information about it. The data obtained with the use of laser scanning technology ensures high quality of the information obtained. Use LiDAR to inventory the course of the power line and its components, determine the place of collision with vegetation or buildings. In addition, use the data during the inventory of transport infrastructure with particular emphasis on the road and rail network along with the accompanying infrastructure. Recognize road signs and markings as well as height, width, length and shape of identified objects.
LiDAR technology allows for classification of terrain coverage and detection of various objects, which are possible to detect using modern algorithms of point cloud classification. Apply laser scanning data to extract ground points in order to obtain a Digital Terrain Model and other derived products, i.e.: contour, shaded relief model, aspect or slope model. Identify low, medium and high vegetation. Get detailed information about the location and appearance of buildings and make a three-dimensional model of the city based on it.
Already, the LiDAR data play an important role in forestry, accelerating work related to forest area inventory. Thanks to the data obtained from laser scanning, you can extract individual tree crowns together with the information about the location of the tree trunk, its height, diameter, width, shape of the crown, volume or the shortening of the stand. By comparing the point clouds from the two time periods, you will determine the extent of damage to the forests caused by the pest gradation, fires and windmills. LiDAR data can be a support in modeling forest fire hazard by identifying the volume of fuel remaining in their area along with determining the direction and speed of fire development.
Data obtained by laser scanning, in addition to location information, have the ability to describe the shape of the object being imaged. This precise and very accurate information about the object will allow you to perform three-dimensional models at various level of detail. For example, thanks to LiDAR data, buildings can be reflected as simple cubic blocks without taking into account the roof slope or even presented as very detailed architectural models that have full physical and functional documentation, both outside and inside the visualized object.
The use of LiDAR data in spatial planning facilitates the process of obtaining information about the area. Thanks to the classified point cloud, you will be able to make precise spatial analyzes regarding the filling of urban space with vegetation or buildings. You will make a precise location and description of the objects you are interested in, and compare the design of the new investment with the surroundings. A particular application of LiDAR data may be determining the potential of solar radiation energy and visual pressure brought into urban space by billboards, advertisements or signs.
By participating in LiDAR technology trainings you will be able to use terrestrial, mobile or airborne laser scanning data in your work. Programm of trainings have been properly selected so that you can explore all the secrets of technology and process the point cloud yourself from the beginning to the end. The training consists of workshops that each time are preceded by a presentation containing the latest knowledge and trends in the industry. The workshops are carried out on the basis of both free and the best commercial applications for LiDAR data processing. Classes are taught by experienced practitioners who gained their knowledge during projects carried out in Poland and abroad.
By participating in GIS trainings, you will increase your competences related to the use of spatial data. Using the known tools, you will be able to use specific spatial analyzes to identify your problem and you will certainly make the right decisions. The activities carried out consist of a theoretical and practical parts. The practical part is implemented using the QGIS and SAGA software. At the customer's request, the training can be performed on the basis of commercial applications for GIS data processing. The courses are runned by the best trainers who are specialists in the topic you choose.
